CHWC 2026 – Nashville, TN
Day 2 & 3 - Monday and Tuesday 😇

Our second and third day at CHWC was filled with faith, service, and community.
At the beginning of the week, all participants were divided into work groups, each made up of young people from different parishes and states. These groups remain together throughout the entire week, allowing new friendships to grow while serving Christ together.

Each day begins early. We wake up at 6:00 AM, gather for breakfast at 6:30 AM, and celebrate Holy Mass at 7:30 AM. Following Mass, each group travels to its assigned worksite, where we serve until 3:00 PM.

After returning to campus, the evening program begins. This special time includes music, singing, dancing, inspiring testimonies, the Rosary, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. 🙏🏻

Through both service and prayer, our youth continue to grow in faith while experiencing the joy of being part of the universal Catholic Church.

Dzień 2 i 3 - Poniedziałek i Wtorek 😇

Nasz drugi dzień na CHWC był wypełniony wiarą, służbą i budowaniem wspólnoty.
Na początku tygodnia wszyscy uczestnicy zostali podzieleni na grupy robocze, składające się z młodzieży pochodzącej z różnych parafii i części Stanów Zjednoczonych. Grupy te pozostają razem przez cały tydzień, co daje możliwość nawiązywania nowych przyjaźni i wspólnej służby Chrystusowi.

Każdy dzień rozpoczynamy bardzo wcześnie. Pobudka jest o 6:00 rano, śniadanie o 6:30 am, a o 7:30 am uczestniczymy we Mszy Świętej.
Po Eucharystii każda grupa udaje się na przydzielone miejsce pracy, gdzie służymy potrzebującym aż do godziny 3:00 pm.

Po powrocie na kampus rozpoczyna się druga część dnia. Wieczorny program obejmuje muzykę, śpiew, taniec, świadectwa wiary, modlitwę różańcową oraz Adorację Najświętszego Sakramentu. 🙏🏻

Poprzez pracę, modlitwę i wspólnotę nasza młodzież wzrasta w wierze, doświadczając piękna i powszechności Kościoła katolickiego.

Dziękujemy wszystkim za modlitwę i prosimy o dalsze wspieranie naszej grupy duchowo przez cały ten wyjątkowy tydzień misyjnej służby. 🙏🏻

STBAL Parish Youth Group Mission Trip to Catholic Heart Work Camp - CHWC 😇 💪🔨🪚🛠️🪜🧹🪣

Day 1 -

On Sunday, June 21st, twenty-one members of our STBAL Parish Youth Group departed to Nashville, Tennessee, to participate in the Catholic Heart Work Camp Mission Trip.

During this week of service, our young people will put their faith into action by assisting those in need through light construction projects, home repairs, yard work, and service in shelters for the homeless and orphaned children.

This mission experience is an opportunity for our youth to live out Christ's call to love and serve others, especially those who are less fortunate. Through their work, they will bring hope, compassion, and the caring presence of our parish community to those they encounter.

As they travel and serve, we ask all parishioners to keep our youth group, their chaperones, and the people they will be serving in your prayers. Pray for their safety, good health, and spiritual growth, and that their hearts may be strengthened through this experience of Christian service. 🙏🏻

Mission trips are more than acts of charity; they are journeys of faith. When we serve others, we encounter Christ in those who are poor, vulnerable, and in need. These experiences help young people deepen their relationship with God, grow in gratitude, and discover the joy that comes from selfless service.
May this mission trip inspire our youth to continue living as disciples of Jesus and sharing His love wherever they go.

Wyjazd Misyjny CHWC Grupy Młodzieżowej Parafii STBAL 😇 🪚🛠️🪜🧹🪣

Dzień 1 -

W niedzielę, 21 czerwca, dwudziestu jeden członków naszej Parafialnej Grupy Młodzieżowej STBAL wyruszyło do Nashville w stanie Tennessee, aby wziąć udział w programie Catholic Heart Work Camp.

W czasie tego tygodniowego wyjazdu młodzież będzie służyć osobom potrzebującym poprzez wykonywanie lekkich prac remontowo-budowlanych, prac porządkowych wokół domów oraz pomoc w schroniskach dla osób bezdomnych i domach dziecka.

To wyjątkowe doświadczenie jest dla naszej młodzieży okazją do wcielania w życie słów Chrystusa, który wzywa nas do miłości i służby bliźnim, szczególnie tym najbardziej potrzebującym. Poprzez swoją pracę młodzi ludzie będą nieść nadzieję, życzliwość i świadectwo wiary wszystkim, których spotkają na swojej drodze.

Prosimy całą wspólnotę parafialną o modlitwę za uczestników wyjazdu, ich opiekunów oraz osoby, którym będą służyć. Módlmy się o ich bezpieczną podróż, dobre zdrowie, wytrwałość w pracy oraz o duchowe owoce tego doświadczenia. 🙏🏻

Wyjazdy misyjne są czymś więcej niż tylko pomocą materialną. Są drogą wzrostu duchowego i okazją do spotkania Chrystusa obecnego w drugim człowieku. Służąc ubogim, samotnym i potrzebującym, uczymy się wdzięczności, pokory oraz bezinteresownej miłości.
Mamy nadzieję, że ten wyjazd umocni wiarę naszej młodzieży i zainspiruje ją do dalszego życia Ewangelią na co dzień.

CHILDREN’S DAY celebration at STBAL PARISH 😇

On Sunday, May 31st our parish celebrated a joyful and vibrant Children's Day.
The event began with Holy Mass at 10:45 AM, during which we prayed for all the children in our community. After the Eucharist, the parish hosted on the St. Thomas Becket Church Campus numerous attractions that attracted both children and entire families.

Children enjoyed numerous games, activities, and surprises prepared especially for the occasion. The mini zoo, train rides, arcade games, and creative stations were all very popular.
There were also plenty of tasty hot dogs and sweet treats, which brought many smiles.

The atmosphere was full of joy, community, and family warmth. We thank all the volunteers, parents, and everyone involved in preparing this beautiful event.

Thanks to you, Children's Day has become a special time of celebration and building parish unity.

DZIEŃ DZIECKA w naszej parafii STBAL 😇

W Niedzielę, 31 maja w naszej parafii odbył się radosny i pełen energii Dzień Dziecka. Wydarzenie rozpoczęliśmy Mszą Świętą o godz. 10:45 AM, podczas której modliliśmy się w intencji wszystkich dzieci naszej wspólnoty.
Po Eucharystii na placu parafialnym kościoła Św. Tomasza Becketa czekało wiele atrakcji, które przyciągnęły zarówno najmłodszych, jak i całe rodziny.

Dzieci mogły korzystać z licznych zabaw, animacji i niespodzianek przygotowanych specjalnie na tę okazję.
Dużym zainteresowaniem cieszyło się mini zoo, przejażdżki pociągiem, gry zręcznościowe oraz stanowiska kreatywne. Nie zabrakło również smacznych hot-dogów i słodkich poczęstunków, które wywołały wiele uśmiechów.
Atmosfera była pełna radości, wspólnoty i rodzinnego ciepła.

Dziękujemy wszystkim wolontariuszom, rodzicom i osobom zaangażowanym w przygotowanie tego pięknego wydarzenia. Dzięki Wam Dzień Dziecka stał się wyjątkowym czasem świętowania i budowania jedności parafialnej.

How to receive a plenary indulgence on feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus:

On this feast day, the Church offers a plenary indulgence—the full remission of temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven—to the faithful who publicly recite the Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

This may be done in a church, with one’s family, or within a religious community.

To receive the indulgence, the usual conditions must also be fulfilled:

- Be detached from all sin, even venial sin
- Receive the Sacrament of Confession within about 20 days before or after
- Receive Holy Communion, preferably on the feast day itself
- Pray for the intentions of the Holy Father, such as one Our Father and one Hail Mary

Recite the Act of Reparation:

Most sweet Jesus, whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence, and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thy altar, eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject.

Mindful, alas, that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the vows of their Baptism, have cast off the sweet yoke of Thy law.

We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed against Thee. We are determined to make amends for the manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and behavior, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent, for the frequent violations of Sundays and holy days, and the shocking blasphemies uttered against Thee and Thy Saints.

We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Thy Vicar on earth and Thy priests are subjected, for the profanation, by conscious neglect or terrible acts of sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Thy Divine Love, and lastly for the public crimes of nations who resist the rights and teaching authority of the Church which Thou hast founded.

Would that we were able to wash away such abominations with our blood. We now offer, in reparation for these violations of Thy divine honor, the satisfaction Thou didst once make to Thy eternal Father on the Cross and which Thou dost continue to renew daily on our altars. We offer it in union with the acts of atonement of Thy Virgin Mother and all the Saints and of the pious faithful on earth; and we sincerely promise to make recompense, as far as we can with the help of Thy grace, for all neglect of Thy great love and for the sins which we and others have committed in the past.

Henceforth we will live a life of unwavering faith, of purity of conduct, and of perfect observance of the precepts of the Gospel, especially that of charity. We promise to the best of our power to prevent others from offending Thee and to bring as many as possible to follow Thee.

O loving Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our model in reparation, deign to receive the voluntary offering we make of this act of expiation; and by the crowning gift of perseverance keep us faithful unto death in our duty and the allegiance we owe to Thee, so that we may one day come to that happy home where Thou, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, livest and reignest, God, world without end. Amen.

PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE FATIMA PROCESSION - which will take place on Saturday, June 13th this month at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church. 🙏🏻

Our Lady of Fatima and the Second Apparition - June 13, 1917 🙏🏻

On that day, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared for the second time to three shepherd
children - Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto - in Fatima,
Portugal. During this apparition, Our Lady encouraged the children to pray the rosary
daily and spread the messages of prayer, conversion, and peace. She assured them
that God had a special plan for them and asked them to help bring people closer to Him
through prayer and devotion.
The message of Fatima remains as important today as it was over one hundred years
ago. Our Lady called on everyone to gather in prayer, especially through the rosary, and
to seek peace within their families, communities, and the world.

In honor of Our Lady of Fatima, our parish will celebrate a Fatima Mass and Procession
on Saturday, June 13th, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church. The Holy Mass will begin at
7:00 pm and will be celebrated in Polish, as it is our regular Saturday evening Polish
Mass.

Immediately following the Mass, at approximately 7:50 pm, we will begin our bilingual
Fatima Procession around the church.
During the procession, we will pray the
rosary together in both English and Polish.

We warmly invite all parishioners - individuals and entire families - to participate in this
beautiful celebration of faith and devotion.
Our Lady of Fatima asked the three children
to spread her message and encourage people to pray together.

Let us answer her call by gathering as a parish family to honor Our Blessed Mother and pray the rosary for peace in our hearts, families, and the world.
Please bring candles or lanterns for the procession. 🕯️🙏🏻

ZAPRASZAMY DO UDZIAŁU W PROCESJI FATIMSKIEJ - która w tym miesiącu odbędzie się w sobotę, 13 czerwca w kościele Św. Alfonsa Liguori. 🙏🏻

Matka Boża Fatimska i drugie Objawienie z 13 czerwca 1917 roku 🙏🏻

Tego dnia Najświętsza Maryja Panna po raz drugi ukazała się trojgu dzieciom pastuszkom - Łucji dos Santos oraz jej kuzynom Franciszkowi i Hiacyncie Marto - w Fatimie w Portugalii. Podczas tego objawienia Matka Boża zachęcała dzieci do codziennego odmawiania różańca oraz do szerzenia orędzia modlitwy, nawrócenia i pokoju. Zapewniła je, że Bóg ma dla nich szczególny plan, i prosiła, aby pomagały prowadzić ludzi bliżej Boga poprzez modlitwę i nabożeństwo.

Orędzie fatimskie pozostaje dziś tak samo aktualne, jak było ponad sto lat temu.
Matka Boża wzywała wszystkich do wspólnej modlitwy, szczególnie różańcowej, oraz do zabiegania o pokój w swoich rodzinach, wspólnotach i na całym świecie.

Aby uczcić prośbę Matki Bożej Fatimskiej, nasza parafia zaprasza na Mszę Świętą oraz Procesję Fatimską w sobotę, 13 czerwca, w kościele św. Alfonsa Liguori. Msza Święta rozpocznie się o godzinie 7:00 pm i będzie sprawowana w języku polskim, zgodnie z naszym stałym sobotnim wieczornym porządkiem nabożeństw.

Bezpośrednio po Mszy Świętej, około godziny 7:50 pm, rozpoczniemy dwujęzyczną Procesję Fatimską wokół kościoła. Podczas procesji będziemy wspólnie odmawiać różaniec w języku polskim i angielskim.
