Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He doesn’t simply lead us to a good place by chance. He knows exactly where we need to go, what we need, and how to guide us every step of the way.

As the psalmist says:

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.” — Psalms 23:1-2

Why is it sometimes hard to obey and follow God? One reason may be that we haven’t taken the time to truly know Jesus. The more we know Him, the more we can trust Him. And one of the most important ways we get to know Him is through the Bible.

8.30.2026 | NXT GEN

We praise God for His faithfulness as we celebrate 42 years of CCF! 💙

Through Nehemiah 3 & 6, our NxtGen kids learned how God used ordinary people from different backgrounds to work together and rebuild Jerusalem’s wall in just 52 days!

Even when they faced opposition, challenges, and distractions, they stayed united, focused, and faithful to God’s calling.

Our NxtGen kids experienced this lesson through a fun team puzzle activity, discovering that when we work together with unity, cooperation, and perseverance, we can accomplish great things for God!

May our children continue to grow as young disciples who love God, follow His Word, and work together to make a difference.

NXT GEN is open every Sunday at 9:00 AM, except on the last Sunday of the Month! We’d love to have your kids join us for a fun and meaningful time of learning about God, building friendships, and growing in His Word. 🙏

8.30.2026 | Our Extraordinary God Is Our Shepherd, Follow Him.

What a beautiful reminder from Psalm 23:1-6 that our God is not only our Provider and Protector, He is our Shepherd. He knows us, leads us, provides for us, protects us, and never leaves our side.

When we follow Him, we may not always know where the path leads, but we can trust Who is leading us. His presence gives us peace in the valleys, strength in difficult seasons, and hope for what lies ahead.

The question is: Are we truly following Him?

Let’s choose to trust His leading, obey His Word, and stay close to Him every day. Follow the Shepherd. Trust His direction. Live under His care.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” - Psalm 23:6

Today, we joyfully celebrate 42 years of God’s faithfulness at CCF, together with our CCF family across the US East and Midwest States!

For 42 years, we have witnessed His power overflow in the lives of ordinary people. By His grace alone, He has shepherded us into a calling far greater than we could have ever imagined.

All glory belongs to God for every life transformed, every family strengthened, and every heart drawn closer to Him. As we celebrate this milestone, may we continue to honor Him and make disciples for generations to come.

Happy 42nd Anniversary, CCF! To God be all the glory! 🙌
