If you did not shoot as well as you could have at our recent Clays Shoot (or were too scared to come out in the first place), I have an OPPORTUNITY for you!

I will be teaching a short course in Gun Safety and how to shoot 5-stand, S***t, and/or Trap this Saturday at Backwoods! This is a very condensed version of Clays, but you only need one box of shells, and it is OPEN TO ALL (MOCC Men, Wives, Sons, Daughters, and Grands!). We usually get a smaller group for this, which makes one-on-one coaching much easier and lets us move at our own pace!

This is a ton of fun, and there is no skill requirement for this; I will teach the entirety of gun safety, as well as the ins and outs of the other games! 1 round = 25 shells, so anyone can do it and it will take 30 mins or so to complete. I have guns, so even if your excuse is 'I don't have a gun', I gotcha covered! Rain or shine, we can shoot under cover or outside, so the weather is not an issue! Costs are a box of shells ($12); a round of the game ($6), and that's it!

All I ask is that you let me know if you are attending so I can reserve a field.

This weekend (8/15) at 10 AM at Backwoods Quail Club in Hemingway, SC (1 hour up Highway 41). Call if questions and/or for carpooling or whatever!

So, if that were not enough to make you attend, we have a solid Guest Speaker, Mr. Carl Burr, who will educate us and just returned from a 2 year mission in Costa Rica. He's a former Marine helicopter pilot who founded a school in Costa Rica. This is not to be missed!

One of our brothers in Christ came home from the hospital in a wheel chair. The Men of Christ Church Anglican, Mt. Pleasant, built a ramp for his home so he could have accessibility.

Update regarding Christ Church Anglican, new building in Carolina Park

Every time we drive by, there’s something new to see. This week, the rafters went up! We’re thankful for the progress and grateful for your continued prayers as we watch our future church home come together.
