We are excited about joining with Life Community Church this year. Pastor mike Cooke survived a home invasion in February being shot 5 times. I reached out to him to see how I could help. I filled in for him until he was able to return to preaching and now we are relaunching Life community in Mt Pleasant. Check us out on Instagram at lifecommunity.church. See u Sunday!

Dear Road Church family, we continue to pray and ask God's leadership about church and next steps. As we shut the doors to our weekly service, I hope that we would continue our journey together in some form or fashion. We have spent two years building a community, and I know that God has not brought us this far just to leave us. Please continue lifting each other up in prayer, reading God's Word, and seeking His Will for a place for your family to enjoy regular worship. We plan on continuing the Women's Bible Study on Friday mornings, and getting together whenever possible. Please use this page for staying in touch, listing your prayer concerns, and discovering next steps for your family.

Looking forward to starting a great new year! Beginning on Aug 13th we will be looking at How we experience God. Great childrens program, great music and encouraging message will lead you to worshipping the real Almighty God. We are interdenominational which simply means we value the traditions we grew up in and encourage renewal to our God. Join us at the Dunes west clubhouse on Aug 13th!!

so glad to welcome our new children's director, Shelby Mager. Shelby has such a warm, loving faith and will be a real asset to our growing church. We know God is providing the people and resources we need as we seek to be His church at Dunes West. Join us this week at 11 am at the club house as we continue a study of the book Acts. Back to the Basics. Christians may often feel that they aren't doing enough, loving people enough, going to church enough, etc. And this is why many of us have given up on religion; it is really a matter of integrity because we can't stomach being a hypocrite. But Jesus never asked that of us, nor is He interested in all the religious stuff we might do. Ps. 50: 9-12 says that God does not need us to feed Him and that He would not even tell us if He was hungry. Isn't that awesome :) He just loves us and wants a relationship with each of us. I suppose it is just easier to stay busy and avoid any intimacy with Him. Come join us this week, give church another try, as we try to understand it all, and get back to the basics of our faith.

Hope everyone is enjoying your summer. Tomorrow we will be without Laura on the piano. She and Eliza are in NYC. The message will be on "The road of exultation." If you haven't exulted in a while you should come and join us. Our relationship with God ought to be amazing, fun, growing, and exultative! If it hasn't been that great in a while then come and get it kick started tomorrow morning.

i can't say that every journey I've taken went exactly as planned. In fact, something always seems to happen that could throw us off course. But then you adjust and try to get back on track. You might even say that those unexpected problems make the journey interesting. We've all had those kind of Road Trips. The Road church at Dunes West is about embracing the crazy spiritual road trip we are all on. Every twist and turn is sacred and meaningful and is God speaking to you. Join us this Sunday and hear about the exciting road trip Jesus took the disciples on. It was a doozy.
