🎉 Midwest Old Threshers — Day 4! 🎉

Day 4 is winding down for the First United Methodist Church, and we’ll be wrapping things up around 8:00 PM tonight!

But don’t worry—we’ll be back bright and early tomorrow! ☀️

🍥 Labor Day — Monday
☕ We’ll be serving our delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes starting at 7:00 AM!

We’ll continue serving until approximately 2:00 PM, or until we run out of food—so come early to make sure you get your favorites! 😋

We are so thankful for everyone who has stopped by and supported us throughout the reunion. ❤️ We hope to see you tomorrow!

The heat finally broke! We’re so thankful for some much-needed cloud cover today! 🙏

Come out and see us at the Wright Pavilion and enjoy some delicious food! 🍽️

We’ll have:

🍖 Meatloaf
🍗 Fried chicken
🍔 Beef burgers
🥔 Baked potatoes with all the toppings
🍗 Chicken strips
🌭 Hot dogs

🚜❤️ Many hands. One community. One purpose. ❤️🚜

The Midwest Old Threshers Reunion brings together thousands of people from near and far—and it’s a joy to see our own First United Methodist Church community come together in such a special way!

For five days, our church family works side by side to prepare and serve wonderful meals for Old Threshers visitors. From cooking and serving to washing dishes, greeting guests, and all the little things in between, it takes a team! 🙌🍽️

These pictures are a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we support, encourage, and serve one another. We truly are better together!

The First United Methodist Church is serving up delicious, homemade meals through Monday, and we’d love to see you! ❤️

☀️ Breakfast | 7:00–10:15 AM
Start your day with a warm cinnamon roll, coffee cake, and a cup of coffee. ☕️🍰 It’s the perfect fuel for a full day of Old Threshers fun!

🍴 Lunch & Dinner | 10:30 AM–8:00 PM (Monday until 2pm)
We’ve got something for everyone, including:

🥩 Homemade meatloaf
🍗 Fried chicken
🍔 Beef burgers
🍗 Chicken strip meals
And don’t forget dessert! 😋 We have plenty of homemade treats to satisfy your sweet tooth, including homemade cookies, ice-cream cookie sandwiches, frozen fruit cups, and delicious pies! 🍪🍦🥧

🚜🎉 Old Thresher’s is in full swing! 🎉🚜

There’s so much to see, do, and enjoy—and we hope you’ll take a little time to stop by the First United Methodist Church Food Tent in the Wright Pavilion (the white-and-red striped building just east of the Grandstands). ❤️🍽️

We are so thankful for all the wonderful people who are volunteering their time and talents to help us serve delicious meals to Old Thresher’s visitors. From cooking and serving to washing dishes and everything in between, it truly takes a team! 🙌

One of the best parts of this week is seeing what can happen when people come together. When we work side by side, we can create something special—something no one person could do alone. That’s community! ❤️

So, whether you’re hungry for a great meal, looking for a friendly smile, or just ready for a little break from all the Old Thresher’s excitement, come see us! We’d love to have you at the table. 😊

Midwest Old Thresher Reunion — Day 2 is underway! 🎉

A little Day 1 recap... it was HOT! 🥵☀️ Thank you to Quality Equipment for adding more fans to our dining room, serving line and kitchen areas! 🙌 You're the best!

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped with cooking at the church, working on the grounds, serving, cleaning and stocking. ❤️ It's all so appreciated!

Now come on out and enjoy some fried chicken 🍗, meatloaf 🥩, frozen fruit cups 🍓, ice cream cookie sandwiches 🍪🍦 and more! 😋

🍽️ Come Join Us for Our “Just Because” Meal! ❤️

On Sunday, September 20, Pat and the kitchen crew are ready to surprise us with something delicious! Since it’s Cook’s Choice, we’re not even sure what’s on the menu—but we know it’s going to be good! 😋

Join us after the 10:00 AM worship service for a wonderful meal, plenty of conversation, and a chance to connect with friends—both old and new.

Whether you’ve been part of FUMC for years or you’re visiting for the first time, you’re invited! There’s always room at the table. ❤️

🌭🍔 Don’t Miss the FUMC Family Picnic! 🍔🌭

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13, 2026, right after our 10:00 AM worship service! We’re looking forward to a fun time of food, fellowship, and enjoying time together as a church family. ❤️

Please let us know if you’re coming! We want to make sure we have plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone—because nobody should leave the picnic hungry! 😋

🥗 Bring a dish to share and your favorite drink, and we’ll take care of the hamburgers and hot dogs!
