People were so excited to be with the bishop this week, we keep getting more pictures sent to us to mark the occasion. As the bishop reminded us, one of her tasks is to offer a panoramic ministry, connecting us to the bigger church. Her presence helps us feel that connection. That connection is well worth celebrating.

Holy Trinity was blessed today to host Bishop Emily Hartner, the bishop of the North Carolina Synod, and her son with us. This was Bishop Emily's first visit to our church. She preached on Matthew 16 and joined us after for our covered dish.
