Just a reminder today that God is good.

When Jesus taught the Beatitudes, He didn’t say blessed are the wealthy, successful, or popular. He said blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, and the merciful.

God sees you right where you are. He sees your struggles, your hurts, your prayers, and your desire to follow Him. Keep seeking Him. Keep trusting Him. Keep walking in obedience.

The Lord is faithful, and He will never leave His people empty.

Today’s sermon was the introduction of our summer series, “The Devil’s Playbook”. The enemy want’s distraction, compromise, bitterness, temptation, fear, and division to pull us away from God’s purpose for our lives. But, we have the playbook to overcome the enemy, Amen! May God bless you today!

Today we celebrate brother Cameron on his 27th birthday! In the short time he has been here, he has become a valuable part of the leadership team and a faithful servant with a heart on fire for the Lord. His willingness to serve, lead, and pour into the work of the Kingdom has been a blessing to our church family.

We at Calvary Hill Church of God are thankful for you and all that you do. We pray this next year is filled with God’s favor, strength, wisdom, and continued growth in Him.

On this Pentecost Sunday, we reflect on the moment the fire of God fell and the Church was forever changed.

“When the Fire Fell” takes us through Acts 2:1-4 and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. What began in an upper room became the spark that spread the Gospel across the world. The same Spirit that empowered the early church still moves, fills, convicts, and transforms lives today.
