Meet one of our Core Leaders:
Hey my name is Morgan Flook and I am so excited to be back as a Core Leader again this year. My husband Stephen and I moved here 5 years ago with our oldest son. 3 years ago we added another boy to our family. My husband is a fishing guide and I homeschool our boys.

I found CBS 2 years ago through a homeschool friend and fell in love with the community right away. Diving into God’s word with other women and having a kids program for my two boys has been so life-giving. I am so thankful to be serving alongside amazing women to share God’s Love with the women and children of CBS Mt. Pleasant!

Meet our online Core Group Leader!

My name is Stephanie Stallings, and I lead the core group that meets online on Thursday nights. When the Mt. Pleasant CBS group launched in 2020, we met on Zoom due to the COVID pandemic. This technology was brand new to me and as someone who works full tme, I am thankful for this platform which allows for us to meet virtually. Over the last six years, women from all over South Carolina and many other states have participated. The connection that we cultivate by studying God's Word, despite never meeting in person, has been such a blessing.

My husband, Jody, teaches eighth grade English and I teach preschool to four year olds. We have two adult children: Bronte and Brevin. We became grandparents in January when Brevin and his wife, Cassie, welcomed Brevin, Jr. into our family. I enjoy exploring the Lowcountry and being a tourist in my own town. My guiding verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight. your paths.”

Meet our Children's Teacher for our Baby/Toddler Class!

Hello! My name is Cate and I serve as a children’s teacher in the baby / toddler class. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 33 years and we have two grown children in their 20’s. I have been a part of CBS for the past 25 years in various classes throughout the east coast and have served with several different age groups. I continue to be amazed about how much even a toddler is able to grasp about God and His love and care for them…and we have fun learning all about God through short Bible stories, simple crafts and music. I am looking forward to our upcoming CBS year!
