Joyfully Usher in the Season: Hanging of the Greens & Church Celebration!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 30th, as we celebrate the First Sunday in Advent with the Hanging of the Greens Worship Service.

Join your church family for this joyful service of preparation, where you will help us decorate the sanctuary and learn about the powerful symbols we use throughout the Advent season

The celebration continues right after worship!
• The Spiritual Growth, Nurture and Care Committee will provide a wonderful church fellowship meal.
• Following our meal, the Christian Education Committee will sponsor a Make-Your-Own Advent Wreath workshop! You'll create a beautiful wreath to take home.
• The afternoon finishes with a festive sing-along of our favorite Christmas songs.

This is a true family event! Please invite your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to join us for worship and all the festivities that follow.

Vacation Bible School will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 9am until 1pm here at the church. This year's theme is "Tell it on the Mountain!" Pick up a registration form this Sunday after worship or in the church office. Be sure to return your form by Sunday, June 15.

Tell your friends, family, and neighbors!! MOPC’s Vacation Bible School will be on July 27 at Sleepy Creek Lake. From 0-100, all are invited to participate in this fun day, exploring Jesus’ invitation to “Come follow me and I will make you fishers of people”, Matthew 4:19. Activities for all ages! The day starts at 9 am with a joint assembly of adults and children led by our pastor, Savannah Demuynck. We will share a hot dog lunch at noon (please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share). And fun activities around the lake after lunch (fishing, boat rides, games) until 4 pm. This is a great opportunity to invite our friends, family, and neighbors to join in the fun and experience the love of Jesus. Registration forms will be available in the church office, sanctuary or on the website under the FORMS tab. Please complete the registration form by Sunday July 21 so we can plan for the day. You can return VBS registration forms to the church offering plate after worship, or to the church office; the online registration form can be emailed to [email protected]
