Friendship Kids are blessed to be mentored and taught by Nelson Wilson! Spanning 40 years of reaching children and teens for Christ, his influence is powerful. For example this week at camp, a few of our children chose to go fishing. Nelson went with not only our children, but also with another group. He noticed that the Camp was using the wrong size of hooks. Always ready, he brings out his tackle box and puts smaller hooks on the fishing line. All of the children began catching fish, including our three children that were there. They were ecstatic to catch their first fish. They will never forget it. The camp let us know that more children caught fish on the rotation with Nelson, than all summer long, including when the teenagers were there. That is one example of him always going the extra mile.
