WOMEN’S SPRING BIBLE STUDY (Tuesdays, Feb. 3-April 28)

Ladies, do you feel like you are just going through the motions of being a good Christian, worn out with church activities or are spiritually empty? Then let’s seek the Lord together for personal revival this spring through the Seeking Him Bible study! “Revival is not merely an emotional experience---it’s a complete transformation! In this 13-week interactive study, Nancy Wolgemuth and Tim Grissom guide (us) through critical stages of spiritual renewal including humility, repentance, grace, holiness, obedience, forgiveness, and power through the Spirit-filled life. KING'S MEN BOOK STUDY - "HOW GOD MAKES MEN" by Patrick Morley

WOMEN'S FALL BIBLE STUDY (Tuesdays, Sept. 9-Nov. 25)

Ladies, can you relate to avoiding the Prophetic Books of the Old Testament in your personal Bible study? Want to change that and study them in a way that allows us to “see Jesus in the Prophets?” Then come join us on Tuesdays for a 12 week study titled, The Word of the Lord, by Nancy Guthrie. We will experience "guided personal Bible study, relevant teaching and group discussion" to help us "gain a fresh perspective on the message of the Old Testament prophets and a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of Scripture."

John 1:45 says, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth." Let’s study God’s word together!

WOMEN'S SPRING BIBLE STUDY (Tuesdays, Feb. 18-April 22)

Ladies, are you "eager to see God use ordinary relationships and conversations between ordinary Christians to work extraordinary miracles in the lives of his people?" If this describes you, please join our Women’s Bible Study where we will be spending time receiving "practical guidance for loving others well" from Ed Welch, a highly respected biblical author and counselor.

"Everyone needs help from time to time, especially in the midst of painful circumstances and difficult trials." His short book, Side by Side, will lead us through developing our "helping skills." Side by Side, is "written out of the conviction that friends are the best helpers. This introduction to biblical counseling will equip believers to share (our) burdens with one another through gentle words of wisdom and kind acts of love." 3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - October 26
Come out for some good fun and competition at the Calvary Bible Church Men’s 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. The double elimination tournament is for all men ages 16 and up, and will be officiated by PIAA referees.

It is to be held at the church on October 26 (rain date: November 2) starting at 9:00 a.m. The King’s Men ministry is hoping to build on the success of previous tournaments and have a great day of basketball fun for the community, which will include prizes, food, and refreshments.
