Calvary Bible Church, located in Mount Joy, PA, is a:

Non-denominational Bible church – While we do not belong to any group, we do not take pride in being a “lone ranger” type local church. Singing church – Music style is very important to many people and not everyone enjoys the same style. We purposely create segments in our corporate worship that blend rich songs from the past and present. Teac

hing church – Our belief in the nature and purpose of God’s Word results in a steady diet of preaching through books of the Bible. Each year, Sunday teaching times involve relevant, theological exposition of books of the Bible. Shorter series are also placed into the preaching calendar in between book studies or in the middle of long book studies. Our goal is for biblical information to create transformation as we apply our lives to His Story. Missional church – Making disciples across the street and across the sea plays a vital role in our faith-family. Our desire and goal is to carry out our Lord’s command in Matthew 28:18-20 of baptizing and teaching people to do the things Jesus said to do.

KING'S MEN BOOK STUDY - "JAMES" by Blackaby
Join us for an eight-week small group study through the book of James, using the Blackaby study guide. Together, we’ll explore practical biblical wisdom for living out a genuine and steadfast faith.

The study begins Wednesday, September 9, and meets every other Wednesday from 7:00–8:15 PM in upstairs Room 206.

WOMEN’S FALL BIBLE STUDY (Tuesdays, Sept. 15 -Nov. 10)

Join us on Tuesdays from September 15 - November 10 at 9:30 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. for an inductive study titled, "The Stories of Women" by Colleen Searcy. We will spend our time observing, interpreting, and applying Scripture passages that feature women.

Child care is available for our study, but for the morning attendees only. Call or email the church office at 717-653-5857 or [email protected] to RSVP.

Books can be purchased online through Walmart, Target, Amazon, Crossway, Christianbook, and other websites. For our first meeting, bring your new book but no homework needs to be done ahead of time. See you then!

WOMEN’S SPRING BIBLE STUDY (Tuesdays, Feb. 3-April 28)

Ladies, do you feel like you are just going through the motions of being a good Christian, worn out with church activities or are spiritually empty? Then let’s seek the Lord together for personal revival this spring through the Seeking Him Bible study! “Revival is not merely an emotional experience---it’s a complete transformation!
