Sunday at Mt Hermon we were blessed with an appearance of the Good and Righteous Reverend Dr. Obadiah Russell Preacherman, his pen name is O. Rusty Preacherman, but his friends just call him preacher man and two of his congregate, uncle Arthur and Barney, the American Black Bear. All there to talk about Holy Communion and what an “Open Table” truly means. The children were enthralled and the congregation captivated🤣 All this followed by a wonderful sermon!! Come join us Sundays at 9am! You never know who will be there!

Mount Hermon United Methodist Church was awarded The Wesley Flame and recognized at the Virginia Annual Conference of Methodists. The award was presented by the VA Bishop, Sue Haupert-Johnson. The recognition is for the Young Adults Rise program sponsored by Mount Hermon and led by Rebecca Harrigal. Young Adults Rise helps twenty somethings gain greater confidence in their abilities and future, and most importantly, gain a supportive community.
