Hyde Mill, pictured here, will be one of the final stops on the Springdale Fall Car Cruise, this Saturday, Oct. 10! Join us, as we head out from the church at 2752 Town Hall Road, Mount Horeb, Wis., for a scenic drive through Cross Plains and around the Indian Lake area; stop for lunch at The Shop Fair Valley Bar & Grill, Sauk City; then head down the Wisconsin River to Pleasant Ridge, near Governor Dodge State Park.

Arrive at church (just past the new Kwik Trip east of Mount Horeb): 9 a.m.
Depart: 10 a.m. sharp
Cost: $15 to help fund the 2027 Springdale Car Show, Aug. 28!

All road-worthy cars welcome!

Many thanks to everyone who made Saturday Night’s Norwegian Dinner at Springdale a huge success: diners, cooks, bakers, ticket sellers, dishwashers, set-up masters, and all the rest! Tusen takk!

Vær så god! Two Steeples Parish is serving up a Norwegian Dinner, Saturday, Sept. 26 at Springdale Lutheran Church, just east of Mount Horeb, Wis. Traditional fare will include Norwegian meatballs with gravy, red potatoes, veggies, cranberry salad, lefse and krumkake, plus other assorted desserts and beverages.

To be served from 4 til 7 p.m., the meal is $17 per person; 5 and under free.

Springdale Lutheran and West Blue Mounds Lutheran together form Two Steeples Parish. Springdale is located just past the new Kwik Trip at 2752 Town Hall Road.

113 meals! Thank you to all who participated from our two parishes!

Thank you to Springdale Lutheran and West Blue Mounds Lutheran for serving 113 meals on Tuesday night! We had a great time with these fun volunteers!! They helped with our mission to provide a free meal for all and provide a time of fellowship with our Mount Horeb Community!

Never forget.

Today, we remember and honor the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We remember those who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation, and the countless men and women who were inspired to serve our country in the years that followed.

We also honor the incredible working dogs who served alongside their handlers, searching through the rubble and helping in the rescue. Their service is a powerful reminder of the extraordinary bond between working dogs and the people who rely on them.

At Custom Canines, veterans and first responders hold a very special place in our hearts. We are reminded every day of what service, sacrifice, and resilience look like, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much.

We remember every day, but today, we pay our respects to the heroes whose courage will never be forgotten.

Never forget. 🇺🇸

So proud to contribute to the vital work of Custom Canines Service Dog Academy through our car show the past few years! And, as always, it was wonderful to have both human and canine representatives from the organization on site at the show, because who could resist these faces!!

We are currently tabulating show proceeds and expenses, and look forward to presenting a check in the coming weeks.
