Here’s the 2026 Holy Week lineup for Two Steeples Lutheran Church:

* Please join us for Maundy Thursday service with communion at West Blue Mounds Lutheran at 7 p.m. on April 2 in downtown Blue Mounds (no Wednesday evening service this week).

* Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mt. Horeb will host a Good Friday Ecumenical Worship Service at 1 p.m. April 3., with several local pastors presenting.

* And at 10 on Easter morning, April 5, we’ll celebrate our risen Lord here at Springdale Lutheran Church, just east of Mount Horeb, Wis.

Free supper, Tuesday, Feb. 24 at the Mount Horeb Community Center from 5:15 to 6 p.m.! United Methodist Church will be serving beef tips in gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and dessert. Dine in or carry out.

For Two Steeples Lutheran, Easter season begins this week at West Blue Mounds Lutheran in downtown Blue Mounds, Wis. Please join us there for Ash Wednesday worship on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.—and each Wednesday until Easter, April 5.

We’ll celebrate Easter morning here at Springdale Lutheran, just east of Mount Horeb, starting at 10 a.m. All are welcome!

Two free hot meal options this week! First is the Community Supper in Mount Horeb, Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the Senior Center from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., sponsored this month by Immanuel Lutheran. Call 608-437-4576 or 608-437-5765 to reserve an in-person or to-go meal.

Second is a Thursday Night Meal of chili at our sister church, West Blue Mounds Lutheran in Blue Mounds from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with eat-in and takeout available. Please private message or comment below by Tuesday to reserve your meal(s).

After our Soup and Sandwich Supper, we were able to stuff this Little Free Pantry full of non-perishables, thanks to the generosity of attendees. But now the cupboard is almost bare. Please help if you can! The Blessing Box is located in front of our sister church, West Blue Mounds Lutheran at 2962 Church St., Blue Mounds, Wis. With temperatures so cold, please avoid glass containers and even canned food at this time. Boxed meals and food in plastic or pouches is recommended. Thank you for your generosity!

Yehiel Curry, presiding bishop of the ELCA, has issued a statement about the Jan. 7 shooting of a U.S. citizen by a federal officer.

We were thrilled to present a $6,400 check to Custom Canines Service Dog Academy with the proceeds from the 2025 Springdale Car Show on Dec. 7! Custom Canines trains and provides service dogs to veterans and first responders.
