While being loved is important and gives us great joy, we know there is more. Just being loved is a joy that is incomplete. It’s just like receiving gifts, without being able to give. While receiving a gift is a joyful thing, if you cannot give, your joy is reduced to a half. If you don’t love others, your joy of life is incomplete. Loving others makes your joy complete.

Scripture: Hebrews 2:14-15
Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.

We know how life begins, using science, specifically biology. Yet, where we are coming from is more than just biological matter. It has to do with the meaning of our being here in the world. We Christians believe we are from God, and God created us in his image. When it comes to death, it is something that cannot be explained. - Pastor Kim
