During this Octave of Pentecost, the Society of Saint Pius X announced the four priests who have been chosen to receive episcopal consecration on July 1st at Écône.
These consecrations are intended to ensure the continuation of the traditional priesthood, Confirmation, and the sacramental life of the Church amid the ongoing crisis in the Faith. As Father Pagliarani stated, this is not about establishing a parallel authority, but about faithfully handing on what the Church has always believed, taught, and practiced.
Please keep these future bishops in your prayers:
🇨🇭 Father Pascal Schreiber (Switzerland)
Rector of the Herz Jesu Seminary in Zaitzkofen, Germany, where he oversees the formation of more than fifty seminarians from sixteen countries. Former District Superior of Switzerland.
🇺🇸 Father Michael Goldade (United States)
Originally from Kansas and now Rector of Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Virginia, Father Goldade oversees the formation of nearly one hundred seminarians for the priesthood.
🇫🇷 Father Michel Poinsinet de Sivry (France)
Currently Superior of the Benelux District, Father Poinsinet has spent many years in Catholic education and parish ministry throughout France and Europe.
🇫🇷 Father Marc Hanappier (France)
A professor of metaphysics and dogmatic theology at Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Virginia, Father Hanappier has dedicated much of his priesthood to Catholic education and priestly formation.
Let us pray for these priests, for the Society, and for Holy Mother Church during these historic days.
Veni Sancte Spiritus.
