In the first episode of a two-part conversation, Pastors Brian and Jonathan share their own stories of salvation, discipleship, serving, and calling to ministry. As they reflect back, they discuss the ordinary opportunities, relationships, passions, and even things that seemed like coincidences that God used to write their own stories.

Part 1 focuses on their salvation stories, the people who discipled them, and some of the seemingly small moments that became pivotal in their journeys.

So much in life comes with an expiration date. Love never does. ❤️

This Sunday, Pastor Jonathan reminded us that our spiritual gifts matter, but the heart behind them matters too. God gives us gifts to serve others, and that service must be rooted in love.

If serving has started to feel like an obligation, spend some time with Jesus today and allow Him to change your heart. During you time with Him, remember the love He showed you at the cross. As His love changes our hearts, it shapes the way we care for people, carry their burdens, and show up for one another.

What does love look like in the ordinary moments of your day?

Yesterday, Pastor Brian reminded us that the gifts God gives us are meant to be used with love. Whether we’re serving at church, spending time with family, or talking with a coworker, the way we treat people matters. Sometimes love looks like slowing down and listening. Sometimes it means being happy for someone else, letting go of a grudge, or choosing kindness when we’re frustrated.

And we don’t have to figure it out on our own. As we follow Jesus and put others before ourselves, the Holy Spirit grows this love in us.

How do you know where God wants you to serve?

In this episode, we continue our conversation about growing in the Lord and talk about how God has gifted and equipped each of us to serve Him and His people.
We look at our gifts, our passions, and our story and how God can use each of these to help us discover our place. And if you're still not sure what God has called you to do? We'll talk about what you should do in the meantime as well.

As we seek to make disciples who know, grow, and go, let's be faithful to serve where God has placed us for the betterment of others and for the glory of God. But we can't do that if we're not actively seeking and serving with purpose.

You have a place in the body of Christ, and your gifts have a purpose. 💛

In this week’s message, One Body Many Members, we explored 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 and God’s design for His church. The same Spirit unites us, and the different gifts He gives help us serve and care for one another.

That can look like preparing a meal, praying with a friend, helping in a ministry, or quietly meeting a need. Every member matters, including those whose service happens behind the scenes.

The Lord’s Supper is more than a tradition. It is a sacred reminder of what Jesus endured for us and a joyful proclamation that He is coming again.

As we come to the Lord’s table, Scripture calls us to confront division, put others before ourselves, remember Christ’s sacrifice, and honestly examine our hearts. Because Jesus has made His people one, we approach the table with humility, gratitude, and hope.
