CEFC-Celebrate Recovery Life is hard. We are a support group for anyone struggling with hurts, hang-ups, & habits who needs encouragement and hope for healing. Meets at Mt. But WE Do!

Holly Campus of Carlisle Evangelical Free Church (CEFC) on Tuesdays at 7 pm, 202 N. Baltimore Avenue. Celebrate Recovery is designed to support and encourage anyone wishing to overcome hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Saddleback Church in California launched Celebrate Recovery 25 years ago to show the loving power of Jesus Christ in a recovery process that is not specific to substance abuse. Struggles

come in many forms, such as anger, anxiety, depression, food issues, pornography, relationship issues, frustration, hopelessness, grief, violence and substance abuse. Hardly anyone wants to talk about these things in the context of their faith. God has grace for you, too! Come find out how a loving God can allow suffering, and how to tap into that higher power to find peace and end the chaos in your life. You do not need to be a member of CEFC to attend. All are welcome.

Jesus is a lot of things to a lot of people.

He conquered death and set us free from our sins.
He reconnected humans to God the Father.
He left heaven to save earth.
He was beat so we can experience healing.
He began a new way of faith that set His Kingdom on a path that humans can follow.

Sometimes we might think that things would be easier if we just pushed our pain into the back of our mind, put on a smile, and pretended that everything was okay.

If we pretend we're not hurt, we can't experience the healing God has in store for us.
