Good morning again, Everyone.

Unfortunately, although the church parking lot has been cleared, it remains very icy, and due to the cold, ice melt won't be effective. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we are canceling the 10:00 a.m. service and Sunday School this morning.

This week presents many opportunities for community and worship as we journey through Holy Week together.

WEDNESDAY: Gathering Place at 12:00 p.m., MGUMC's Fellowship Hall
MENU: Taco/Fajita bar with chicken and beef available. Coffee, water, and desserts will also be shared.

THURSDAY: Maundy/Holy Thursday at 6:00 p.m., MGUMC's Fellowship Hall
On this night, Christians commemorate the supper Jesus shared with his disciples before his crucifixion, when Jesus washed the disciples’ feet and instituted the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. We will have a simple meal followed by a service with hand washing and Communion.

FRIDAY: Ecumenical Good Friday at 7:00 p.m. at MGUMC
This will be a service of Tenebrae. Based on a 12th century, late night/early morning service, a service of Tenebrae is an extended meditation on the passion of Christ. AND remember, our wonderful Sunday School teachers are preparing activities for the children during the service in Fellowship Hall.

SATURDAY: Easter Egg Hunt at 11:00 a.m.in the Chautauqua Playground
Because of the weather postponement from last Saturday, our Easter Egg Hunt is happening THIS Saturday! We are in need of volunteers to help hide eggs and staff the egg hunt from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. If you are interested or have any questions, please respond to this email or reach out to Greg P. at 717-304-6468.

SUNDAY: EASTER!
Join us to celebrate Easter Sunday
7:00 a.m. in the Tabernacle for our annual SonRise Service, featuring Holy Communion!
8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at MGUMC as we continue our joyful celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus!
