🙏 PRAYING FOR THOSE IN THE PATH OF HURRICANE ISAIAS

Our hearts and prayers are with everyone in the path of Hurricane Isaias, especially those along the northern Gulf Coast, including the Florida Panhandle, southern Alabama, coastal Mississippi, and southeastern Louisiana, as well as inland communities in Georgia and surrounding areas facing potential impacts.

We pray for God's protection over families and communities, safety for first responders, and strength and peace for all affected.

We encourage everyone in impacted areas to stay alert, take necessary precautions, follow local emergency instructions, and monitor official updates at https://www.nhc.noaa.gov.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

Please join us in welcoming Paul Goodridge as the new associate director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) for the Southern Union!

Goodridge brings more than 25 years of pastoral ministry. He has served in the Northeastern, Southeastern, and South Central conferences and taught at Oakwood University. Since 2019, he has also led PARL for the South Central Conference while serving as a pastor.

"No decision is made without prayer and reflection, and after much of both, we felt led to him," said Amireh Al-Haddad, Southern Union PARL director.

He begins January 1, 2027. Please keep him in your prayers as he transitions into this vital ministry.

A Special Day at Mount Olive!

Today, Mount Olive Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated the official Laundry Trailer Ribbon Cutting, marking an exciting new opportunity to serve and bless the community.

Dr. Elías Zabala, Senior Pastor expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked together to make this vision a reality and turn it into a ministry that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Church members were joined by the CEO of SALT Outreach Services and his team, as well as Leslie Ahonkhai, Associate Director for Community Services at the Southeastern Conference, to celebrate this special moment.

This is what ministry looks like: faith put into action and service that reaches beyond the walls of the church.

Congratulations, Mount Olive! May this Laundry Trailer become a blessing to many families in the community.
