First Baptist Church of Mount Dora We exist to love people where they are and lead them to a life with Jesus. The church has always had a vision of reaching people for Christ.

The First Baptist Church of Mount Dora began in 1922 with 21 charter members, and has grown to over 1,600 members. Our purpose is found in our Mission Statement, "to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer, worship, the study of God's Word and fellowship, equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry to the glory of God."
