🪱💀 Herod was praised by the people as if he were a god, and instead of rejecting it, he accepted their worship. Because he did not give glory to God, he was immediately judged.

The warning is not just about pride, but about taking credit that belongs to God. When we receive praise and keep it for ourselves instead of pointing back to Him, we step into dangerous ground. Everything we have comes from God, and He alone is worthy of the glory.

we say we want eternity with God…

But relationship with Him isn’t something we suddenly start later -

It’s built right now.🙏

In the quiet moments and in the choices no one sees.
In whether we make time for Him or keep putting Him off.

Because love for God isn’t just something we say… it’s something we show.

Through time spent with Him.
Through obedience.
Through choosing Him daily, not occasionally.

Relationship doesn’t begin in eternity.
It’s formed in the everyday.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8 📖🤎✝️
