Consider listening to this most recent episode which mentions St. Joseph's as well as some of the factors around its history!

During the turn of the Twentieth Century the Catholic Church in the United States exploded from its Colonial Era numbers. Coming chiefly from diverse European populations, these communities set up schools and churches modeled off those in their native land. Today, the descendants of these immigrants still serve immigrant populations within the Church, although not always ones that they were first acquainted with. On our episode today we have two guests, Father Jonathan P. Sawicki of the Diocese of Harrisburg, and Father Stephen Robbins who is returning for his second appearance on our program. Similar in age and backgrounds, we discuss our understanding of faith as inherited from our ancestors but also as to how it impacts the work of ministry today in a very different Church. A Church which sometimes struggles to preserve its history while also responding to the very real needs of the world today. Listen today on Spotify, Apple, or Youtube!
