" TO HELP GRANDPARENTS PASS ON THE FAITH AND TO KEEP PRAYER AT THE HEART OF FAMILY LIFE" We are delighted to welcome you to the Catholic Grandparents Association. Thank you for taking this most important step in committing to passing on your faith to future generations. Now that you are part of our worldwide association, you will be connecting with grandparents both nationally and internationally, helping, supporting and valuing each other in this great task. Each and every one of you makes a vital contribution to our families, our church and society. We grandparents have no agenda; they simply want the best for their grandchildren, they want them to be good, decent human beings who know the difference between right and wrong, who are able to make good, moral decisions and, if they go astray along the way, who are able to find their way back to a loving, forgiving, non-judgemental God.At the heart of the CGA is the firm belief that this is our duty, our responsibility, our vocation and we must do what we can. This is the most important job we will ever have, this is the one role from which we can never retire in this world or the next, so let us do our very best, we owe it to our Grandchildren. The CGA exists to support you in this work of passing on our faith and keeping prayer at the heart of the family. Pope Benedicts XVI Universal Prayer for Grandparents, which was composed especially for us at our request. We encourage you to pray this every day remembering the needs of Grandparents everywhere. Please be assured that as a member of The CGA your intentions are included in 24hr prayer, daily Masses and candle lighting. Kindly remember us in your prayers so that the Holy Spirit will continue to inspire, guide and strengthen us we journey forward together passing on our beautiful gift of faith to our Children and our Grandchildren. May Joachime and St Anne, Parents of Mary, Grandparents of Jesus, bless you, your children and your grandchildren, all the days of your life. With every prayerful wish Founder of The Catholic Grandparents Association Posted by Msgr. Frank Karwacki
