🎒 Appalachian Christmas Outreach Backpack Ministry
Now is the time to begin purchasing items for this special ministry. This year, we will be serving 4 local elementary schools as well as Appalachian children in areas of need.

We have a few backpacks available, and an item list is available in the foyer. Toothpaste has already been donated—thank you! ❤️

💙 Thank You for an Incredible Back to School Bash! 💙

Our hearts are full of gratitude after such a wonderful Back to School Bash! Thank you to everyone in our community who came out to make this day so special.

It was a joy to see families enjoying hot dogs, chips, and ice cream, laughing together during the games and activities, watching children have fun in the bouncy house, and helping students get ready for a successful school year with school supplies.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who gave their time, resources, and encouragement. Your generosity made it possible to provide a day filled with food, fun, fellowship, and a great start to the school year!

Most of all, thank you to every family who joined us. Seeing our community come together reminds us of the love and support that surrounds our children.

We are truly blessed to be part of such a caring community. We pray everyone has a safe, successful, and God-blessed school year. We can’t wait to see you at our next event!

Bible Lesson

Today we’re making a Cross Flag. A flag tells people who we belong to. When we wave a country’s flag, we show we’re proud of our country. When we carry a cross flag, we’re showing that we belong to Jesus!

The cross wasn’t always a happy symbol. Long ago, it was a place where people were punished. But because Jesus loved us so much, He chose to die on the cross for our sins.

Jesus had never done anything wrong. He was perfect. Yet He took the punishment that we deserved so we could be forgiven and have eternal life with Him.

Three days later, something amazing happened…

Jesus came back to life!

The empty tomb tells us that Jesus is alive today. Because of the cross and the resurrection:

* Our sins can be forgiven.
* We can be God’s children.
* We never have to face life alone because Jesus is with us.

When people see your Cross Flag, remember that it isn’t just a craft. It’s a reminder that Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life for you.
