Habersham Christian Learning Center Shining the Light, equipping students through Faith, Hope, and Education. No tax money is used to fund the released-time program.

HCLC teaches Christian ethics, morals, and values to high school students during their school day by sharing God's truths in love for passion and purpose throughout life. Classes are offered free of charge to students. Operational funds come from churches, individuals, businesses, civic clubs, and United Way.

We are inviting local youth groups to join us for HCLC Junior Friends' Day. Bring your 6-8th grade students and come explore HCLC and learn about growing true friendships - God's way.

We have 21 seniors that earned a graduation cord, meaning at least 21 members of this graduating class took 3 or more classes with us and earned an A average. We love when students come back for more than one class. Truly that’s where the most growth happens. At least 150 members of the Class of 2026 have stepped through our doors. That’s a third of the entire class! We are so thankful for the ability to reach so many students and pray for opportunities to welcome even more.
If you see a senior, help us congratulate them, and let’s pray for a dry, lightning-free night at Raider Stadium!

We are so thankful for our supporting churches. In April, a crew from River Point cleared out bushes to create more learning space for our students.

Also, electricians from Bethlehem installed exhaust fans in our bathrooms.

Volunteer work goes a LONG WAY at non-profits. It always more of every donated dollar to go directly to providing classes for our students.
