Chariots of Fire Motorcycle Ministry Chariots of Fire is a group of Christian Bikers who originate and operate out of Granite City Church! First and foremost we love God and each other.

We are brothers and sisters in Christ and Our desire is to allow Jesus to shine through our lives everywhere we go. Our joy comes from riding our motorcycles to raise money for charities and to hang out and have fun.

Ron and Lavon Matthews

Church, please pray for the family of Ron and Lavon Matthews. And especially pray for Ron.

While on their way to a ministry opportunity for Remnant Sons, the motorcycle ministry they ride in, Ron and Lavon Matthews were involved in a serious motorcycle accident this morning around 9:00AM near Morristown, TN.

Our ever-smiling Lavon is smiling at the face of Jesus this afternoon, after suffering severe injuries that prevented further efforts to save her life.

Ron was thrown from the bike and received multiple injuries for which he is still being treated in Morristown. Pray for his recovery from his injuries and for peace as he navigates life without Lavon at his back.

Please keep all our fellow family members at Freedom and Liberty in your prayers as we give this loss and the grief we all feel, to Jesus, our only answer.

We don’t have full details yet. We will pass that information along as we are able to confirm.
