Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new day. Your mercy is new every morning, and Your faithfulness never fails. We praise You for watching over us through the night and allowing us to see another day.

Lord, guide our thoughts, words, and actions today. Fill our hearts with Your peace, our minds with Your wisdom, and our spirit with Your strength. Help us to walk in integrity, to love others as You have loved us, and to represent Christ in all that we do.

Give us discernment in every decision, patience in every challenge, and courage to stand for what is right. Bless the work of our hands, and let everything we do bring honor and glory to Your name.

Protect our families, friends, church family, and coworkers. Surround us with Your grace, keep us safe from harm, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, use us today to encourage someone who is discouraged, help someone who is in need, and share the hope of the gospel wherever You open the door.

We place this day into Your hands, trusting that You are ordering our steps. No matter what comes our way, we choose to walk by faith, knowing that You are with us and that Your plans for us are good.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Scripture: Luke 15:11-24
Subject: A Father’s Heart
Key Message: No matter how far a person has wandered, the Father's heart is always ready to receive them when they come home in repentance.
It is unfortunate that many believe their sin has placed them beyond God's forgiveness and restoration.

If God joyfully receives repentant sinners, what does that look like? In Luke 15, Jesus answers
that question by showing us the Father's heart in action. As we walk through this passage, notice four ways the Father demonstrates His love toward His wayward son.

1. The Father’s Patience
2. The Father’s Pursuit
3. The Father’s Forgiveness
4. The Father’s Celebration

Conclusion:
The Father is still watching the road.
And His message is simple:
"Come home." Amen
