Just like an illusion, Paul is teaching that the Holy Spirit reveals to us the mystery of God's wisdom versus the wisdom of the world. He continues his teaching on the characters of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Mike was able to shepherd us through baptisms this past weekend! It is a truly beautiful moment to see faith and trust in God displayed through a surrender of self and a rising to the power of Christ within. Are you searching for this in your life? Pastor Mike Hiebert was in a motorcycle accident on July 25. He was able to go home yesterday and we are thankful for this good news. While the journey will be painful and long, we are so grateful to God that the accident wasn't worse and that Pastor Mike will recover and be able to continue to teach and preach at some point. Please keep him in prayer as he recovers.

Pastor Mike is preaching on the Holy Spirit right now. Feel free to come hear more at 10:30 am on Sundays. He'll be in the book of Acts for awhile. When we believe, we are marked with a seal of the promised Holy Spirit. We don't profess to be artists here, but we want to learn more about this Comforter, Counselor, Intercessor and a believers constant companion.

The Black Kettle chalupa meal from today had leftovers. Since these ingredients were bought by the church, it was decided to have a noon meal of chalupas and hamburgers tomorrow after worship, June 7. All are invited to attend!

Chalupa meal hosted by and located at West Zion Church. We will be serving Chalupa‘s as well as hamburgers. Drink and ice cream are included with the meal. Proceeds from the meal will go to support step MC Moundridge emergency fund and West Zion student education fund!

Annual women’s salad supper! We are thankful for Zettie & Connie who put on such a wonderful night. Chris Allen who lives in Newton came to share 80+ of her unique quilts with us. Each one has a story & a special reason to why she made it. They are beautiful!!!
