There was a spirit led weekend at Bluff Springs Campgrounds. Thanks to everyone who supported Labor Day Retreat. Tucker did a fantastic job as camp director.

Back safe and sound with lots of our little Luvbug friends, you know they just love white….. Van was easy to drive, but the driver has to keep on their toes. The van has a large sail area, so the wind or large vehicles and semis will push you over when they pass you by. Same when they pass you and pull in front of you, the van will buff back and forth until they get about 250” ahead. I had plenty of room in the driver cockpit, along with Deb in the passenger side. I thought the back might be a little tight, but I moved back and forth in the back and had plenty of room to maneuver, I can pretty much stand up in the back. There is only one USB-A per row, not sure how to improve that. I will have to do some research. Since there is not a back row for 15, there is a lot of room in the back. Biggest issue I see and will have to be fixed before it will be useable is to mount some steps for all 3 doors. The front doors are 15” from ground to step. Sliding passenger door is 22”, probably need mounted steps and then a step you can put there and pick it up before you drive off. It was a good ride, from the driver’s seat, not sure about riding in the back, but they look like the same seats the driver uses.

Deb and I left Helena about 5:30 this morning and drove to Orlando and took possession of our new van. We left the dealership and drove to north Gainesville to stay overnight. Almost 700 miles on the road today. I will post a review tomorrow after we drive it some more miles.

And just like that, our Backpack Buddies number increased from 106 to 133 buddies for the Moss Point School District. The Escatawpa Community of Christ is responsible for providing granola bars. For a healthy granola bar from Sams it cost $11 to $15 a box of 49 double bars. This total is weekly. The Tuesday morning Bible Study Group started donating granola bars about 6 years ago. We are asking the members of the congregation to help us purchase the granola bars by donating money or granola bars. The count is 22 High School, 22 Magnolia Jr. High 56 Escatawpa Upper Elementary and 33 Kreole Lower Elementary. We can also use your plastic grocery bags doubled and folded one time. Thank you for your help in feeding and reaching out to our Community.
