Our Vision
Second Baptist Christian Academy is “Educating the Whole Child”. Our vision is that
each child will excel academically, spiritually, and socially. Academics: Each student will value the scholarship of discovery, teaching,
learning, integration, and engagement. Spiritual: Within each student’s life, they will use scriptures as our standard,
love as our law, and mercy as our message to

their families and communities. Social: Each student will live out faith through friendship, love, and truth by
demonstrating these characteristics for people and activities that they engage in. Second Baptist Christian Academy will be the alternative school of choice enabling
children to reach their full potential and perform successfully on standardized testing at
the national level. Second Baptist Christian Academy will become a model school for
educating children regardless of their current academic and social status. As a result,
Second Baptist Christian Academy will provide the community with its leaders and
productive citizens of the future.
