Good Friday morning to each of you on this day that the Lord has blessed us with. Thank you Jesus!!! Remember to "Stay Alert" today because Satan is not on vacation. (1 Peter 5:8)

Devotional Observation for: Friday, June 5, 2026
***Experiencing the Blessing of Being-Brought Nearer to God
Scripture Reading: (Ephesians 2:13) “But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.” (NLT)
Reflection: Peter teaches that Christ suffered "that He might bring us to God." The purpose of the cross was reconciliation. Jesus did more than forgive our sins; He restored our relationship with the Father. Because of His sacrifice, we now have access to God's presence and the privilege of calling Him Father.
Personal Challenge: Spend extra time in prayer, thanking God for the relationship you now have with Him.
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me nearer to You through the blood of Your only Son Jesus Christ...in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!

Greetings to each of you Saints of God. This is yet another day that the Lord has blessed us with. As we inch closer to Sunday and Communion Day for many, Let us remember that we are "redeemed." Jesus, the suffering Savior paid the price for us. Thank you Jesus.

Devotional Observation for: Thursday, June 4, 2026
***The Cost of Redemption
Scripture Reading: (Isaiah 53:5) “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” (NLT)
Personal Reflection: Our salvation was not free; it was purchased at a tremendous cost. Jesus was wounded, bruised, chastened, and beaten so that we might receive forgiveness and peace.
As Communion Sunday approaches, remember that every element on the Lord's Table points back to the suffering Savior who paid the full price for our redemption.
Personal Challenge: Given your time to study the Word today, Read Isaiah 53 and meditate on the suffering servant.
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, please help me to stay focused as a Christian believer and never take Your sacrifice lightly. As I continue to grow and mature, let me cherish the price You paid on the cross for my salvation in the name of Jesus I pray! Amen!

Good morning to each of you Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Thank God for the Wake Up Call today where we are given yet another chance to "Trust God" and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. Can't Nobody Love Us Like Jesus!!! The Cross!!! The Evidence!!!

Devotional Observation for: Wednesday, June 3, 2026
***No Greater Love than the Love Displayed on The Cross at Calvary
Scripture Reading: (Romans 5:8) “But God commendeth*his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (KJV)
Personal Reflection: God did not wait until we became worthy before He loved us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The cross is the greatest demonstration of divine love the world has ever seen. Every drop of blood shed at Calvary testifies that God's love reaches farther than our failures.
Personal Challenge: Reflect on one way God's love has changed your life. Give Him due Praise and Glory.
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, thank You for loving me when I was lost. And Your love and forgiveness blessed me even more when You sent your only Son Jesus on a mission to save me and others from our sins. Thank You...in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Good Tuesday morning to the New Zion-Moss Point Church Family and our Friends in Christ. Thank God for the Wake-Up Call He has extended to us this morning. Let us Remember Jesus and the Cross today...every step and breath that we are afforded.

Devotional Observation for: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
***Jesus, The Innocent “Son of God” Died for Us...the Guilty
Scripture Reading: (1 Peter 3:18) “For Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.” (NLT)
Personal Reflection: Peter declares that Christ, the Just One, suffered for the unjust. Jesus was completely innocent, yet He willingly accepted the punishment that belonged to us.
On this upcoming Communion Sunday, we have a chance...Lord’s will, to remember that the nails should have been ours, the suffering should have been ours, and the judgment should have been ours. Yet Jesus stepped into our place. Thank you Jesus!!!
Personal Challenge: Thank God specifically for taking your place on the cross.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for becoming my substitute and bearing my sins upon Yourself. Amen!!!

My brothers and sisters of New Zion-Moss Point and our Friends in Christ, let us prepare our hearts for Communion Sunday, I encourage you to remember that Jesus willingly became the "Greatest Sacrifice" ever offered. His suffering was not in vain. His sacrifice opened the door for sinners to be reconciled to God. Each day of this week's journey leading to Communion Sunday invites us to reflect on the cost of our redemption and the greatness of God's love.

Greetings to each of you on this Monday morning. We are blessed as a New Zion-Moss Point Church Family along with our wonderful Friends in Christ to enter into the beginning of another Communion week. Thank God!!! The Preacher will talk about "Jesus & The Greatest Sacrifice: He Suffered for All of Us" (1 Peter 3:18). Make plans to join us this upcoming Communion Sunday.

Devotional Observation for: Monday, June 1, 2026
***The Reality of Sin—Self-Examination
Scripture: (Romans 3:23) “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (NLT)
Personal Reflection: Before we can appreciate the sacrifice of Christ, we must understand why the sacrifice was necessary. Every person has sinned and fallen short of God's holy standard. Sin separates humanity from God and leaves us unable to save ourselves. Communion reminds us that Jesus did not die because He had sinned. He died because we had sinned. The cross reveals both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God's love.
Personal Challenge: Spend time confessing any sins that need to be surrendered to God.
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, please help me to recognize my need for Your grace and mercy. I realize that I cannot make it while walking in my own strength. I know that I need you every step of the way. Thank You for loving me despite my failures. In the Mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen!
