Dear Grace Harvest Church Family,
On Sunday night, May 31, a dear member of our church family passed into the presence of God. Carla Hamilton was a part of Grace Harvest Church for over 30 years. She was our Church secretary for about 15 of those years. For many of the people in the previous years and decades of our church, Carla was the first voice or smile they heard or saw when they called or came into our church office.
Carla's kindness and grace had a huge influence on so many people through the years here at Grace Harvest Church and around the world. Carla's homemade quilts have graced many homes within our church family over the decades. The personal touch and beauty that went into these quilts have marked many of our lives.
Carla contributed to our Church family and its health in so many ways for so many years. Her prayers, giving, and many acts of service have helped to make Grace Harvest Church the church family it is today.
We will dearly miss Carla and all she brought to our lives. We will gather together and celebrate her life on August 8, 2026. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend her celebration of life. One of Carla's requests for her celebration of life was that it would be a Quilt Show. Please plan to bring with you any quilt or craft that she created for you. We will have more information in the days ahead. Please keep the family in your prayers as they grieve their Mom, Nana, Sister, and Auntie Carla. - Pastor Doug
