We welcome you to the page of Calvary Independent Baptist Church! It is a great joy for all of us at our church that you have visited our site today. Here at Calvary, our desire and passion is “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known!"

Our family moved to Delaware County, PA in 1977 to begin this church, and God has wonderfully worked through the years to bring many people to a saving know

ledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and also to help many to take new steps of discipleship in their walk with the Lord. I pray that God will bless you richly as you visit us and that if you do not know Christ as your Savior that you will receive Him into your heart today. Cartwright Phil. 1:6

What a wonderful day of celebration we had last Sunday as we celebrated Lindsay's public profession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ for her salvation! Pastor Cartwright had the privilege of leading her to the Lord, and he baptized her at the end of our morning service this past week. Please pray for Lindsay, that she would be rooted and built up in Christ as she begins on the path of discipleship!

This year's Vacation Bible School is coming up fast. From July 13th through the 17th, 9 AM - 12 PM, there will be Bible stories, games, crafts, and snacks for all children ages 4 through 6th grade.

Our 'I Wanna Grow!' award ceremony took place last night. We are grateful for our wonderful group of enthusiastic children. They did an excellent job memorizing and applying weekly Bible verses in practical everyday situations.
