Coastlands Vineyard Church

Coastlands Vineyard Church Draw from the deep wells of Christian faith. ancient roots | fresh fire | living water

Sundays @ 10 am ~ 330 Panay St. Morro Bay http://coastlandsvineyard.org

Coastlands began with a group of people praying, talking, and listening to what Jesus is doing on the Central Coast. We held our first Sunday morning service on Sunday, January 8, 2012. The founding pastor, Cody Busick, grew Coastlands from an intimate group of passionate people meeting in a home to an intimate group of passionate people meeting in an elementary school auditorium. In March of 2014

, Cody and his family felt called to pastor a church in southern California. In July of 2014, Chris and Sarah Failla, who had recently moved back to California after serving as missionaries in China, were ordained as the new pastors. Throughout Coastlands' journey, we have remained committed to being a genuine, participatory, Kingdom-focused community of people. There is a key scripture that we believe speaks of God’s heart for Morro Bay and the Central Coast. It is Psalm 97:1…

"The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!"

Encounter - Experience - Encourage

Our first priorities are to ENCOUNTER God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and to be encountered by them. We desire these encounters individually and collectively, on Sundays and throughout the week. We EXPERIENCE community in a warm, friendly, vulnerable environment. We believe experiencing community reveals some of the deepest truths about who we are and who God is. We ENCOURAGE one another in our identities, in our daily walks with God, and in our Kingdom adventures, whether they are 9-5 jobs or specific ministry projects.

Today is the 75th National Day of Prayer. Join us at the SLO Court House Plaza as we pray with Jesus for our nation and the World. Remember that he ever lives to intercede for us!

Heb 7:26
“Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

…From a long distance away, his father saw him coming and great compassion swelled up in his heart for his son who was returning home. The father ran to meet him, swept him up in his arms, hugged him dearly, and kissed him over and over with tender love.” Luke 15:20

Believe it or not, God longs with eagerness for you. Always welcome home.

IYKYK

Meet beautiful Jesus.

He welcomed children.
He honored women.
Sought the marginalized.

Protected the accused.
Dined with outcasts.
Forgave enemies.

Washed feet.
Compassionately healed.
Laid His life down for each of us.

He came near and even understands:

Your grief,
Your ache,
Your worries,
Your sadness,
And your betrayals.

He will defend you.
He offers his love as our greatest defense.

Come be with us any Sunday. Our group of people are those who know and share this Jesus. We are an easy to approach, down-to-earth group. No pretenses with us. Come as you are (we mean it).

SO good on Sunday!! A fresh perspective on the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for 40 years. Maybe, just maybe God never tires of loving you (again and again and again) into believing…into your promised land.

Pastor Chad:

“I don’t think it has as much to do with their disobedience as it had to do with their capacity to believe.

And here’s the thing. Catch this. Something was happening in those 40 years.

It took God 40 years to convince the Israelite people that he was God, that he was with them and that he loved them. It took 40 years to convince them because they had spent 400 years in slavery and captivity. where all they knew was lack. All they knew was they were abandoned. Their culture of belief had been shaped by being slaves for 400 years.” 🔥

God is faithful to walk you through your healing. 🙏🏼
