HSNC Ganesh Festival is only 4 days away! Please join us with your family and friends starting from Mon, 4:30 pm Sept 14th through Fri, Sept 25th.

Like every year, we will have Ganesh Maha Abhishek on Sat, Sept 19th and Ganesh Yaag on Sun, Sept 20th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please register for Ganesh Mahaabhishek or Ganesh Yaag or both! All those who register will get two complimentary General Admission passes for any show during the Ganesh Festival 2026 of their choice.

This year, we have great events every single day. The performers coming from India bring Dance Dramas (Sonia Parchure), Dance Ensemble (by Aditi Bhagwat), etc.

This year's flagship event is "Mourya Re" where about 100 performers will be presenting how the Ganesh Festival is celebrated across different parts of India, from North to South, East to West, and Central India. This is a unique show comprising Dance, Drama, Light and Sound like never seen before at HSNC!

First time at HSNC, we will be having Bhajan Jamming, on Thurs, Sept 24th 8 pm onwards! Come and get immersed in devotional singing and dancing!

A special presentation this year is Gaurai Khela, a unique traditional celebration of Devi Gauri. Please join this event on Sat, Sept 26th, from 1 pm. Male or Female come dressed in the best of your ethnic wear to join the festivities - Dance, Music, Games, and much more!

We end the Ganesh Festival celebration for 2026 with the popular musical competitive show - Funtakshari, on Sun, Sept 27th!

Apart from these, we have an Arts Competition, Bhajans and Musical Concerts by our Seniors, Youth, and Young Adults, a Carnatic Music Concert by Smitha Prasad, and a lot more!

🪷 Paryushan Parva | A Journey Within

What is Paryushan, and how do Jains observe it?

Paryushan is one of the most important Jain festivals — a time for self-reflection, spiritual discipline, compassion, Ahimsa, and forgiveness.

Over these sacred days, Jains may devote more time to:
🙏 Prayer & Worship
📖 Swadhyaya — study of Jain teachings
🧘 Pratikraman — reflection and repentance
🍃 Tapasya & fasting
🌱 Ahimsa — non-violence toward all living beings
❤️ Forgiveness and letting go of resentment

Paryushan reminds us that spiritual growth is not simply about giving something up — it is about becoming a better version of ourselves.

As we learn about and celebrate the richness of our diverse faith traditions, we invite our HSNC community to learn more about this meaningful Jain observance.
