Hello! The Red Cross is back @ Morrisville Community Church on Thursday, January 26th from 1p-6p. Please share the flyer to help spread the word. We are stlil in desperate need of 20 donors to sign up. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the last 2 drives due to staffing, when that happens, we tend to lose donors and we have a long rebound period. Today the Morrisville Community Church congregation recognized Ma**ca Vair for her many years of devotion and service. They dedicated the kitchen in memory of her for her design,leadership in planning and organizing dinners,and the many other committees she served on.

The Clothes Basket at the Morrisville Community Church, 3824 Swamp Rd., will be holding "free" days beginning Thursday, August 26 and continuing Saturday, August 28, Thursday, September 2 and Saturday, September 4. Hours are 10 a.m. - noon each day. Everything out will be given away for free. Come and take all you want.

As part of our continuing mission, the Board of Deacons of the Morrisville Community Church will be distributing gift cards for grocery items to needy families in our area during the Christmas Season. These gift cards will be mailed to families in early December of 2021.

The success of a program such as this requires the support of the entire community. We are once again asking for your assistance.

Due to the pandemic we have amended our practice to gift cards only to avoid the handling of food items. Therefore, we are only asking for monetary donations in order to purchase the gift cards to assist these families that need the additional assistance during the Holiday season.

Monetary donations should be made payable to Morrisville Community Church Deacons Fund designated for the Christmas Food Program. It should be mailed to PO Box 178, Morrisville, NY 13408.

Thank you for any assistance that you have provided to this program in the past and for all that you do to make our community a better place to live.

Dougherty Pharmacy of Morrisville has held two series of Covid vaccines in the Fellowship Hall of Morrisville Community Church. Marlene Miner is receiving a Moderna shot from pharmacist , Grant King on March 5, 2021.

Come see what we have. The Clothes Basket at The Morrisville Community Church is open and overflowing. Clothing is $3 per bag (we provide the bags). All books, toys, games and puzzles are free. Housewares, Valentine's and Easter décor are $3 a bag. We are open Thursdays 10-12 and the first Saturday of the month 10-12. Adults only, wear a mask, sign in and come get a bargain.

The Clothes Basket at the Morrisville Community Church will be open Thursday, Dec. 10 and Thursday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m.-noon. All Christmas items will be free those days. We will be closed Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 and New Years Eve, Dec. 31. We will re-open Saturday, Jan. 2, 10-noon.

The Presbyterian Women of the Morrisville Community Church and the Victorian Rose Antique Shop are having a fundraiser to benefit the Morrisville Area Food Pantry. During the month of December, from the 1st through the 31st,, every item purchased with “PW” on the ticket, will have the sale amount donated to the food pantry. You can help:

1. purchase items with PW on the ticket
2. donate food items (place in collection box)
3. donate money
4. round up your sale amount to an even dollar amount and
the extra will be placed in the collection

For each of the above actions, you will receive a raffle ticket to take part in a drawing to be held on December 31. The prize will be a $25 gift certificate to use at Victorian Rose in the New Year.

Beginning in December the Clothes Basket will be open every week on Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 12 noon. (Note the new hours) Beginning Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 we will also be open the first Saturday of the month, every month, from 10 a.m. to noon. We are accepting donations. They can be dropped off any Tuesday or Thursday morning at/around 10 a.m. Thank you for your patience as we try to adjust hours to the time of most needs and to safely serve our clients and workers.
