It's been exactly one month since Clayton Christensen passed away. He was widely regarded as the "most influential management thinker of his time" and held distinguished teaching positions at Harvard and of service within the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

His books on "Disruptive Innovation" and "How Will You Measure Your Life?" have been translated into hundreds of languages and have left their mark on countless world leaders that continue to follow the principles he explored.

He also wrote a short essay on his personal website, called "Why I belong, and why I believe" about his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In part of his reasoning for belonging, he says "because of the way the church is organized, it puts opportunities to help others in my path every day".

Everything we do in our church - the meetings and activities, the missionary efforts, the lessons taught and the hymns sung - all lead to the work done in holy temples.

We believe the temple is literally a house of the Lord, and throughout history He has commanded His people to build sacred spaces of learning and promise-making.

There are now 209 Temples around the world, and they are only open to faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after they are dedicated for use as a holy space.

After construction and before dedication, they host an OPEN HOUSE for the general public to feel of the peace and joy that comes from being on holy ground.

We invite you to experience the Raleigh Temple with us next week and promise that if you do you will feel closer to God and He will answer your prayers in ways He hasn't previously.
