We have been having an exciting week at VBS. The children have been wonderful and the attendance has been great. We have also had a good number of adult and teen helpers. WHAT A BLESSING! We have enjoyed your children attending and want to say thank you for allowing them to be a part of Junkyard Redemption 2026.

Tonight we will be having our final night of Vacation Bible School. Family and friends are invited to participate with us. Please come and experience Junkyard Redemption with your children and find out what they have been learning all week. At the close of the program, the children will be allowed to go to the General Store. There they will be able to spend the fun dollars that they have earned this week.

Today is the day! Children 4 years old to 7th grade students are welcome to join the fun time.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2nd through Wednesday, August 5th. On Thursday, August 6th there will be no dinner and kids are encouraged to invite their family members to attend. Registration table will be open each evening by 5:45 p.m.

Vans will be running each night of VBS. Please call the church at (217) 526-3216 or Colby Huddleston at (217) 891-5856 for more information or if your kids need a ride.

Mark your calendars! VBS this summer will be Sunday, August 2nd through Thursday, August 6th. Ages 4-8th grade (must be potty trained).

A former roadside attraction is now full of rusted relics. Some say this place is hopeless—but is it?

As kids see restoration in the junkyard, they’ll explore God’s redemption plan in Scripture to make sense of our broken world, experience His help for today, and find sure hope for the future!

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (EPHESIANS 1:7).
