Good Friday is upon us and we invite you to join us for worship today at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary for a traditional service and then at 7:30 p.m. for a sunset candlelight worship service (due to weather we will gather inside the church as opposed to our original plan of holding worship outside).

We begin the 2nd week in Lent reflecting on our need for sleep. We pray "Holy Spirit, you know when I feel rested. You also know when I am tired, even when I believe I can push through my exhaustion. Help me recognize when I reach the edge of my energy. Give everyone the sleep we need. Amen."

Blessed Saturday. Our Lent devotional returns to the Old Testament this morning with a prompt from Deuteronomy: "The Lord heard our voice, and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression. The Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, with great terror, with signs, and with wonders; and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, the Lord, have given me. You shall set it down before the Lord your God, and worship before the Lord your God."
