Join us in prayer for those impacted by devastating flash flooding along the border of Nepal and Tibet today. We pray especially for the families and loved ones of those who have died or remain missing, and for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

School backpack tags are ready. Bring your backpack (kids, teachers, staff), and let's send this school year off right.

Also, next Sunday, 8/23, we're celebrating our kids for finishing the Summer Bingo Challenge! They'll get their rewards after service.

Either Sunday at 9 AM, all kids are welcome!

Mexican Dinner Fundraiser
Supporting the Victory Center (Clinton, IA)

Join us Saturday, August 29, from 4:00–7:00 PM at Morrison United Methodist Church for a special Mexican dinner and homemade desserts!

Hosted by Morrison UMC and Crossroads Community Church, this fundraiser will support the Victory Center in Clinton, Iowa, and their missionary trip to Liberia in October.

We'll open Scripture to ask what church is supposed to be, and what our calling is as a church family here. And we'll hear real stories from our own Morrison UMC family, "what brought them here, what's made them stay."
