Founded in 1793 and commonly known as the Morris Baptist Church, we have a long history of preaching and remaining true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Just a reminder on this Good Friday morning that we will be having our annual Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, we will meet at the church at 6:30AM and weather permitting make our way to the cemetery for the service then back to the church for a dish to pass breakfast. All are welcome to join us and we look forward to seeing many there.

Easter Sunday, April 5th all are welcome to join us for our annual "Sunrise Service". We will meet at the church at 6:30 AM and make our way to the top of the hill in the cemetery. Following that service we will head back to the church for a dish to pass breakfast. We will also have our normal 11AM service.

In light of the impending bad weather for the weekend we have made the decision to cancel Sunday services at our church. Praying all stay safe and warm through this storm.

Coming soon to the First Baptist Church of Morris our annual VBS program. The theme this year will be "Rocket Racers". VBS will be held the week of August 4th to August 8th. Looking forward to a great week of fun and learning about the Lord. Time to be determined. Please plan to join us and spread the word to your friends and neighbors.

Just a reminder that we will be having our sunrise service. Plan is to meet at the church at 630am and make our way to the cemetery, weather permitting. Hope to see many there and hope you will join us in a dish to pass breakfast back at the church.

First Baptist Morris will once again be holding a Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday April 20. Weather permitting, we will meet in Hillington Cemetery, time will be announced a bit later. The service will be followed by a dish to pass breakfast at the church. All are welcome to attend.
