Happy Pride!

June is recognized as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. It is a month to celebrate the joy, resilience, strength, courage, and gifts of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We are proud to be a RIC Synod. We embrace the LGBTQIA+ community as beloved children of God. We continue to strive for inclusion and justice of all those marginalized because of who they are and who they love.

Peace LC has a little more curb appeal due to these volunteers this morning: Dave, Emelia, Gloria, Robin, Gil, Judy…. Thanks for your dedication to making Peace a little more neat!! We will do this again.. hope more can join us!! BTW.. donuts were delish.

In June, Becoming Oswego will be practicing "Faith on the Move"! Each Sunday in June, we will be worshiping somewhere other than our normal gathering space. We are putting our words into action - going out into the community and finding ways to serve and build community together.

We can't wait to kick off the month on June 7th by worshiping together at the Aurora Emergency Warming Center. After worship, we'll participate in an unhoused action outreach event from 11a - 3pm. We invite you to join us for worship, beats & eats and building community with our unhoused neighbors.
