Please be aware that someone is impersonating me through text messages from the phone number **501-306-2725**.

Several people have reported receiving messages claiming to be from me and asking them to purchase gift cards. **These messages are fraudulent.**

I want to be very clear: **I would never ask anyone to purchase gift cards for me through a text message.** If I ever needed to discuss something important with a member of our church family, I would do so personally and directly.

If you receive a text from this number, please do not respond, do not send money, and do not purchase gift cards.

If you have already been affected by this scam, please contact:

• Your bank or financial institution immediately
