Faith Filled Friday ❤️ Let's take a moment to reflect on God's grace, and ground our hearts before diving into the weekend.

• The Scene: Jesus's disciples are in a boat on the Sea of Galilee during a stormy night, and they see Jesus walking toward them on the water.
• The Step of Faith: The apostle Peter calls out and asks Jesus to let him come out on the water, too. Jesus says, "Come." Peter steps out of the boat and actually walks on the water toward Jesus.
• The Test of Doubt: When Peter notices the strong wind and big waves around him, he gets scared, begins to sink, and cries out, "Lord, save me!"
• The Lesson: Jesus immediately reaches out his hand, catches him, and says, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"

When the storms of life hit, do you tend to focus on the wind and waves, or do you keep your eyes locked on Jesus?

Jesus told the disciples, "Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid." What fear or worries do you need to hand over to Him this Friday?

Matthew 11:28: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

We didn't make it to Friday by chance; God's grace carried us through every high, low, and heavy moment.♥️

Thankful Thursday ❤️ God, we are so grateful for your presence in our lives. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, and His love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 16:34.

We want to give a huge shout out to those who have helped in the past, thank you for your continued love and support. All donations should be in no later than November 28th. Thank you!!
We need your help with donations for Morning View Church's 4th annual Santa's Secret Shop (December 6th, 2026). Here's a little information for those of you who may not be familiar with our mission. We provide new and/or gently used items to create a free Christmas shopping event for children of the community. They come in and with the help of one of our elves, they get to pick out gifts for their family members as well as a treasure for themselves. Did I mention this is all free??? Thanks to our generous donors, we've had three successful years, and with your help, we will do it again this year!! We are looking for items such as the following: candles, small trinkets, new or gently used household decor, gifts for men, new or gently used jewelry, new hats, gloves and scarves, new or gently used toys, coloring books, markers, crayons, (art supplies), new socks, coffee mugs, items for teens boys and girls, new or gently used Bibles, journals, body sprays, colognes, wallets, bags, blankets, and other items that children can gift to their family. We also accept monetary donations which we use to buy more items!!! If you are doing some late spring cleaning, consider donating your items to Morning View Church ❤️ Donations should be provided no later than two weeks prior, preferably. Please make sure that all used items are undamaged, and clean. Unfortunately, due to space, we can not accept clothing donations (with the exception of new socks, hats, scarves and gloves). This mission was created by someone who truly knows the importance of community giving first-hand, and it has been a blessing to be a part of it. If you or someone you know have donations, or work for an organization that can help with donations, please message us. Your help is so greatly appreciated, and we couldn't do it without all of you. Thank you!!!!!!

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you to those who came out for our indoor Trunk-or-Treat on Friday. We enjoyed seeing the kids costumes and spending time with everyone. 🎃 Thank you to everyone who helped make the night fun and memorable for the kiddos and their families!! We had a great turnout, but would love to see lots of new faces next year, as well as those of you who have been with us in the years past.

Memorable Monday ❤️ What are some of the best memories that you have of your time at Morning View Methodist Church, your own home Church, or any Church that you have attended in the past? What really stuck out in your mind about the message, the lessons, the people, or the experience in general? Did you experience a "God Moment"? You know, those moments that fill your heart up with extreme joy, possibly brought tears to your eyes, and without a doubt, God showed His presence there.
