🌟 Welcoming our Rabbi Candidate Finalist!
Tree of Life is thrilled to announce that our next Rabbi candidate finalist, Rabbi Moshe Raphael Halfon, will be visiting us the weekend of May 29th!
Rabbi Moshe is a true "triple-threat" in the rabbinate—serving as an experienced spiritual leader, a dynamic musician, and a clinically-trained pastoral counselor and chaplain. He has a beautiful history of serving diverse communities and brings an incredible energy to his work, combining joyful worship with a deep commitment to building a warm, inclusive community.
Affectionately known as a "kol bo" rabbi, Moshe is not only a spiritual leader but also a trained cantor, professional guitarist, and percussionist.
He is deeply passionate about eliciting joy in worship through song, stories, and contemporary sources , and yes—his longest shofar blast was once timed at 40 seconds! Whether he is working with college students, young families, or seniors, Rabbi Moshe is dedicated to inspiring everyone to find their own unique spiritual path.
Join us for a special, music-filled weekend:
Friday, May 29th @ 7:00 PM: A special Shabbat and Torah Service led by Rabbi Moshe Halfon, featuring uplifting music, creative prayer, and deep communal connection.
Friday Post-Service: Stay for a large Oneg to welcome our guest, chat, and share in the community fellowship!
Let’s show him the true warmth and spirit of our Morgantown community. We can’t wait to see you there! 🕍✨
