Fr. Jon celebrated his last Liturgy at our Assumption Parish here in Morgantown. He is retiring. It was an emotional day, filled with love and gratitude and our wonderful church family. In 37+ years, we have been so grateful for all the many blessings we have. We couldn’t have asked for a more loving community and a better send off for the next chapter, with our Assumption Family sending us on our way with their love and big, generous hearts. For my husband, he is and will always be a priest and God’s servant. I am so grateful to His Eminence Metropolitan Savas, for sending us to this exceptional parish. And I’m so proud to be the Presvytera of Father Jon Emanuelson. May God grant him many more years. AXIOS!
