Join us for Loaves and Fishes on November 7th from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Fellowship Hall as we prepare freezer meals for Burke County foster and adoptive families.

Sign up to prepare a meal, and a recipe will be emailed to you. Some prep is required ahead of time. Bring your ready-to-assemble ingredients with you on November 7th, and we will assemble the meals together as we serve families in our community.

At Summit Community Church it is our vision to realize Morganton and our Burke County NC community as God desires. It's people as God designed. By the power of the gospel to the glory of God.

In-person contemporary worship on Sundays at 9:15 and 10:45am at 407 S. Green Street. In person classic service at 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Nursery and toddler childcare and AMP (All My Praise Kid's Ministry for 4 years to 5th grade) are provided for children during the 9:15 and 10:45am services on Sunday mornings.

We’re thankful for another great Senior Adult Ministry gathering this week!

It was a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and connection. We love seeing our senior adults build relationships, enjoy time together, and continue growing as part of our church family.

We’re grateful for each person who came and for the ways this ministry continues to strengthen our church.

Our students are heading to Fall Retreat today, and we would love for our church family to pray for them!

Pray that God would use this weekend to draw students closer to Him, strengthen friendships, encourage leaders, and help students grow in their faith. Pray for safe travel, meaningful conversations, and that the gospel would be clear and powerful throughout the weekend.

Honor often shows up in the small, costly choices: making the call, listening patiently, offering forgiveness, or caring for a parent when life is already full.

We honor because we are faithful to Jesus—even when it takes time, patience, and sacrifice. And we do so knowing that, in Christ, we already have God’s love.

Women of all ages are invited to join us on November 14th from 12–3 PM for a special afternoon designed to help us slow down, connect with one another, and grow in our relationship with Christ.

Centered on Philippians 4:8, we’ll spend time in Scripture learning what it looks like to intentionally set our minds on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. As we head into the busy holiday season, this retreat will be an opportunity to step away from our normal routines, build meaningful multigenerational relationships, and allow God’s Word to renew our minds and refocus our hearts on Christ.
