Today was Graduate Sunday at Mount Home. Pastor Dustin brought a message from Matthew 28:16-20 entitled, “Bold Mission: Sent to a World in Need”. Here, we see that the Disciples were ordinary men- not “spiritual superheroes”. They received their boldness from the Lord. We see 3 movements in this text: 1) Boldness comes when we recognize the Authority of Christ; 2) Boldness comes when we submit to the Command of Christ; 3) Boldness comes when we lean into the Presence of Christ. We learn from the Disciples that our faith is not meant to be private- we are called to go. God calls us to share the word, show the word, teach the word and serve the world. God will be with you every step of the way! Congratulations graduates! 🎓🎉

Today’s sermon from Acts 10 was a reminder that God is always at work. He is arranging details we don’t even see. God hears our prayers, reveals truth, removes barriers, and saves whoever believes.

The gospel is bigger than our preferences, traditions, politics, background, or past. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. Whether church kid or drug addict, rich or poor, Democrat or Republican, anyone who comes to Jesus in repentance and faith can be forgiven. ✝️
