TBC Youth

This morning, students around the country gathered around the flagpole for See You at the Pole to pray for their school, their friends, their teachers, and each other.

It’s always encouraging to see students willing to stand together in their faith and begin the day by seeking the Lord. This was the scene at Fannin County Middle School. We’re thankful for each student who showed up and prayed this morning! Praying that God continues to use these students to be a light in Fannin County and the surrounding area.

Why is defense of the faith so important?

Matthew 28, verses 19 and 20 say "Go, therefore, and make disciples of[b] all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” We are tasked with fulfilling the Great Commission. However, the reality is that it is becoming increasingly difficult. In today's world, there are too many ways to consume too many worldly things. https://equip.sbts.edu/magazine-2/reaching-historys-most-secular-generation-apologetics-and-gen-z/ . These influences are slowly shaping generations and that's why defending the faith is so important.

This year, we are taking a deep dive into apologetics. Using 1 & 2 Peter as a road map for us, we're asking and answering the tough questions. Check out the video below to see our theme reveal for the 2026-2027 school year. We would love for you to come hang out with us on Wednesday nights!

Proud of these 3rd graders! Can’t wait to see them in a few years in TBC Youth!

Big step for these rising 3rd graders!

They recently moved up from Children’s Church and are now joining us in regular worship — and we’re so proud of them!

At TBC, we believe kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow. They’re part of the church today. We want them to know they belong, grow in their faith, and learn to worship alongside their church family.

And as they grow, we’ll keep investing in them through age-appropriate Bible study, Wednesday nights, activities, and plenty of opportunities to know Jesus and His Word.

We love these kids and can’t wait to see how God continues to work in their lives!

Didn’t take a lot of photos on days 4&5, but we took advantage of being so close to the ocean that we took a beach day and spent today serving at the mission camp.
