Photos from the 16th NALC Carolina Women’s Convocation was held 10/17/26 at Faith Lutheran Church in Faith, NC. It was attended by Rita Blanton and Debbie Little from New Covenant Lutheran in Morganton. Pastor Marty Ramey shared the program on the use of essential oils which are recorded in the Bible. We made 100 Health Kits, and gathered items to be given to the local homeless people in the Faith area. Our Worship Service was led by Pastor Marty and Pastor Tonya. Ladies made cards to send to those who are sick in Memory of LeeAnn Buckwell. We had a glorious time and were reminded of how our activities share Christ’s Love with others as a way to Welcome them to our church family and make our church more inviting to the Community we serve.

New Covenant Lutheran Church supported their Fundraiser by donating items they could sell to raise money and by staffing a “Go Fishing” Booth for the children to enjoy. And we gave a large auction basket. Here are some auction items we offered:

At New Covenant Lutheran NALC, we are still busy making quilts for our Disaster Response. We completed 4 quilts this Tuesday and began work on new quilt tops to complete next month.

Some things we can use for this ministry are: clean bedsheets, cotton fabric, and ladies to help tie knots when we put them together. We would love to welcome friends from our community to help us anytime. This month we welcomed Kay Draughn and say thank you to her for her willingness to help us! Please feel free to drop by the church any Sunday at 9:45 am or on the 2nd Tues monthly at 1:30 p to help out or drop off supplies to us.

Our church family is blessed to have Pastor Weisner as our interim Pastor since 5/12/24. Pastor Weisner has devoted his life to ministry, teaching others, and supporting Christian Community. These are photos from Pastor Weisner’s Installation Service at New Covenant Lutheran. Please come to our church at 10 am on Sundays to hear God’s Word and enjoy time with Christian friends. 215 Pete Brittain Road in the Salem area of Morganton.
